  • There was a time when a domain name was enough for any business or product for their web presence. We were happy with www.McAfee.com or www.Amazon.com .. But the scenario is different now. It seems we can’t be satisfied with just the domain name now. We also want @McAfee or @Amazon. Or rather those brands need them even more than a website now.

I recently tried out a forum website AndroidHelps.com and someone referred me to WooRank.com to check some rank and stuff about the website. So, there I noticed that they also check the twitter handle on the given domain name for calculating rank! I immediately went to twitter and registered the handle @AndroidHelps .. And now I’ve ensured that when (and If) my site (ever) become popuplar, i’ll have the web covered with a website, a blog and a twitter account.

Here are the first 50 tweets ever posted. The interesting thing is, There is no tweet with the IDs 0-19.. It all started from 20. I also hyperlinked the tweets, check them out. :)

  • If you don’t know yet, Dabr is an open source Twitter Mobile Web client which can be used from their own site dabr.co.uk or you can download the code from its Google Code page and upload it to your server and use it like your own client.. :) But Don’t forget to read the documentation while installing. :) Now, about auto refreshing, First I thought about using AJAX, but that seemed a lot of work. So, I thought of an alternative. Open the theme.php file which is inside the common directory. Scroll to line no 137. You should see something like this ->
